Why In The World Do I Always Dream About Death? What’s Wrong With My Subconcious Brain!?

In almost every dream that I can remember, even from early childhood (and I can recall quite a few), I’ve always been in mortal danger, if not been killed in some lovely fashion.
I wouldn’t exactly call my dreams ‘nightmares’ even if they do often involve my untimely demise; maybe I’m just used to dreaming about these things? What a pleasant thought…
I’m definately not going to list them all, but I’ll give an example by sharing my most recent dream:
I’m in an old run down Victorian mansion filled with sheet covered furniture, old teasets, and chestboards (now that I think about it, the whole ambience of the house made me think of American McGee’s Alice; which is a game for those that don’t know). In the corner of the room, there is this man wearing a long black overcoat with ice-blue eyes… so, automatically we know he’s a vampire or something of that grisly nature, lol.
I walk out of the room– quickly, and realize he’s following me. I can hear him snarling behind me, and snatching at my hair though he can never seem to get a hold of me. Next thing I know, I’m outdoors standing outside what looks like a New York subway tunnel. The walls are covered with oozing black stuff…
At this point, I start thinking of my little sister for some reason, telling myself I need to make sure she’s safe (which would mean keeping her away from me). Anyways, this tunnel leads to the basement of an old shack and low and behold, I can actually see sunlight through the spaces inbetween the floorboards.
I can’t find my sister, but as I turn around I find myself on a motorcycle– if that’s what you’d call it. It was made out of wooden planks and an old pillow… Suddenly it’s night again and I’m racing at like mach 2 on this piece of crap down a major highway. Lucky me, I end up slamming into the back of the vehicle in front of me and flying through the air (still at what felt like mach 2, might I add).
As I “come to” in my dream, a paramedic is kneeling overtop of me. I try to ask him for help, but his eyes roll into the back of his head, and he kept saying “so breakable!” before strangling the life out of me -_-
And so I die in yet ANOTHER dream. Like I said, I’m never really scared in my dreams anymore… this kinda horror movie crap spins through my sleeping brain all the time.
Can’t be normal… and no, I don’t watch a ton of horror movies, eat before bed, and I don’t feel overly stressed. Any ideas or interpretations?

  5. As much as I would love to take the time to talk to you about this dream, I lack the luxory of time and proximity. I love analyzing dreams. However, having had many… let’s say… disturbing dreams myself, I found myself brushing up on the subject. Go to the library or your local bookstore and look for books on the subject. From memory I can’t tell you what everything symbolizes but I know that colours, people, faces, roles, and so much more have factors in the meaning of your dream. Or, at times, there are dreams that don’t mean anything at all and are merely your subconscious expressing itself through dreams.

  6. hmmm, well there could be allot of different interpretations.
I used to have dreams that someone would always be chasing me, a shaddow shaped like a man, that would come get me every night.
I eventually stopped dreaming about these things when I moved out of the room I used to sleep in…
This was when i was about 8-12 yrs old. went on for about 4 years.
about 2 years ago, I moved back into that room, and started having spiritual encounters with the same black shadow I used to dream about.
through talking to some mediums, and getting some spiritual knowledge, I learned that deep meditations can repel anything like this.
Its possible that your dreams are being haunted by a spirit.
Seek some advice from some professional psychics on this matter…
They might be able to help you more specifically with your situation.
    Good luck.
