ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITANNICA
These contain four biblical narratives covering the life and death of Jesus. They have been written, according to tradition, respectively by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. They are placed at the beginning of the New Testament and comprise close to half of it.
Encyclopedia Britannica notes that none of the sources of his life and work can be traced to Jesus himself; he did not leave a single known written word. Also, there are no contemporary accounts written of his life and death. What can be established about the historical Jesus depends almost without exception on Christian traditions, especially on the material used in the composition of the Gospels of Mark, Matthew, and Luke, which reflect the outlook of the later church and its faith in Jesus.

Jesus didn’t die in order for god to forgive us. That is a ridiculous concept that stems from our ancient primitive urge to shed blood as a sacrifice to god. Why would a just god demand that someone else be punished for something we did? and his own son at that? this doesn’t make any Sense. Jesus was crucified because his existence threatened the power of religious leaders of the time. God forgives us if we want forgiveness, no matter what.
Remember how sin entered the world in the first place: through Adam, a perfect human. So in turn, a perfect human -who was completely sinless in mind and body- needed to be given as a sacrifice.
But God didn’t HAVE to allow JESUS to be our ransomer. He could have let any of his angels do it, who were perfect in body as well. But he sent his fist creation, his first son. He did so as an enormous example of love for humans.
It has to do with God being a just and righteous judge as well as loving fallen human beings.
Romans 3:21 But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 22 even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, 26 to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Without sacrifice for sins, there is no remission; likewise for us, except we repent of our sins, there is no remission.
we had to sacrifice something to show how sorry we were but nothing was good enough….Jesus was the best sacrifice
Death was the punishment. God can’t be in the presence of sin, because he is just and the punishment for sin is death. So someone had to die, and God chose to do it himself rather than make us take our own punishment.
Because of God’s justice, He cant go against His own law. He is perfection and nothing dirty or with flaws can be in His presence, so we can only be washed and clean with Jesus’ blood
Even if God forgave us, Only the incorruptible price which is the blood of Christ that could make us God’s righteousness.
2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.
Galatians 1:11-12
I want you to know, brothers, that the gospel I preached is not something that man made up. I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.
2 Timothy 3:16 tells us that the Bible was “breathed out” by God.
Galatians 1: 11-12 tells us that the gospel was a revelation from Jesus Christ himself, which was recorded by Jesus disciples and Paul.
God himself chose the disciples and the people whom He knew were going to spread His word and write the Bible.
The Bible was written by approximately 40 men of diverse backgrounds over the course of 4000 years. Despite being penned by different authors over 40 centuries, the Bible does not contradict itself and does not contain any errors. The authors all present different perspectives, but they all proclaim the same one true God, and the same one way of salvation—Jesus Christ (John 14:6; Acts 4:12).
In John 8:58 “I tell you the truth,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!”
The above verse speaks a lot about who Jesus really is.
All about Jesus and the Holy Trinity explained in the below website.http://jesustrinity.blogspot.com
Lots of videos, sermons, songs are also present, along with all of Jesus miracles, his parables, and questions on his birth, crucifixion, resurrection are answered.
Many major questions on Christianity are answered with lot of examples that cannot be denied by anyone, such as,
1) Did Jesus really exist? Is He God? Why did He suffer on the Cross?
2) What is so special about Jesus? Why cant I just view him as an ordinary man or a teacher or a prophet? Why should I see him as God?
