What movie has a little girl who takes music lessons at an old man’s house every afternoon? I’ve seen it 10+ years ago. I know he was an old/scarred hermit and dies before the end of the movie. At the very end, she sings a very inspirational song to a crowd like apart of a competition.
That’s all I can remember… Please help!

I’ve seen it too. When he passed away, I cried.
He passed away because he saved the the poor girl’s life but they assumed because they didn’t know him that he tried to hurt her, so they beat him up.
Such a sad, but beautiful movie.
