I was thinking to crumble a saltine cracker or ritz cracker to feed my feeder fish until I can get to the store tomorrow. My daughter won the fish at the county fair..that is why I have the fish and no food.

No don’t feed it that only oranges but 1 piece a week and don’t worry it’ll be fine until tomorrow don’t feed it anything that a human can eat except a few vegetables.
If you have wheat,or rye,bread you can make healthy little doughballs to feed it temporarily. Healthier than what it got as a “Fair” fish waiting to be won.
I’m assuming it’s a Goldfish.
I feed mine can green beans, just take some from the can and chop them up small and put them in the tank and the rest in the frig until tomorrow. I feed mine once a day fish food and once a day green beans.
go outside and find some worm chop it up till it’s small enough 4 the feeder to eat

just wait untill tommorow to feed it. it’ll be fine. fish can go a very long time without eating, thats just how it goes in the wild. BUT THAT DOESNT MEAN NOT TO FEED THEM!! but if you really feel that you must either feed him some veggies or a cut up worm. also those feeder fish really dont live very long =( so maybe after this fish passes, if your daughter still wants fish, you could go to the pet store and get a better fish. good luck =)
