you just took this listhttp://movies.yahoo.com/feature/100-movi…
and tweaked it a bit
You left off Lord of The Rings, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Stripes, Ghostbusters, and Chocolate. Otherwise, great list!!
Ummm i think you pretty much summed it up i dont think i could add a movie to that list
The Shawshank Redemption
American Beauty
City of God
Shrek
And your point is……………???
What about Cast Away and Little Miss Sunshine? Those are really great movies.
I guess I can die now…
I’d argue that it’s much to early to decide whether or not to include Dark Knight on this list. We have absolutely no idea how a film is going to be viewed ten, twenty, thirty, etc… years from now, and we should at least wait a decade before we say a film is a must-see before we die (which means I’d get rid of In the Mood for Love, too, as much as I love that film). In 1941 Citizen Kane was a failure, and lost the oscar to Ford’s How Green was My Valley, how many of us remember that film, now? I’d say the film that is going to have the most written about, and be best remembered from this year is Synecdoche, New York, but that is all guess work at this point.
Other than that it’s a great list, pretty comprehensive, mine would be much different, but that’s a great list. Good job.
