I Never Had A Happy/good Dream In My Life. Why?

I never had a happy/good dream in my life. All my dreams are actually nightmares, or are really strange. The creepy kind of strange. And I don’t know why: I don’t suffer from depression, I don’t watch gory movies before going to bed, I don’t read scary stories, I don’t eat heavy meals before falling asleep, I had a normal/happy childhood (no abusing, traumas or anything).
And in this dreams, even if they are bad, I never get hurt. For example: if a…zombie(yeah, I know, really creative) is chasing a group of people and I’m in that group the zombie never hurts me, just the others. If there is a car crash and I’m in the car, everybody dies, but I stay alive.
If I dream about something normal, like a party I have to go the next day, it’s exactly the same: something bad happens to the others, I’m just sitting there and watching them dieing.
I haven’t been sleeping so much earlier and it seems that the nightmares are “softer” now.
Thank you for reading this. Any answer will help me.

  1. Narcoleptical restrainment is what it is known as. Some phsycoleagic people are often made aware of outlets in the psyche which will restrain or release the ogryisms you face. This release often comes from within a dream, so just look forwards to an early release.

  2. it sound similar to night terror. I’m narcoleptic and all of my dreams used to be horrific terrible nightmares… all of them. It couldn’t be explained why, but for some reason this is common in narcoleptics. After treatment of my narcolepsy with medication and after my sleep paterns stabalized, the night terrors went away. I’m not sure why they went away and I don’t know what caused them to begin with. Try to regulate your sleep and be sure to go to bed early and get as full a nights sleep as you can. It may help you, it seems to be what helped me.
