…because as you know, you have only this life to enjoy.
which reminds me of that soap opera title, ‘one life to live’. lord, that sounds so droll!

Of course. I’m convinced that this is IT so I need to make the most of it. I’m not just concerned about enjoying this life, but mostly about conducting myself in a way that sets a good example of humanity, citizenship, stewardship, discipline and hard work for my child. Her father and I work on having the best relationship we can so that our child has a good example to go into the world with – and hopefully never settles for an unworthy or abusive partner nor becomes one herself. We are raising part of the next generation – as we believe that this is the only form of immortality nature offers us, we take it very seriously.
I live my life according to my basic needs as well as my family’s needs as well. I do know that I only have this life to live but I am not going to make a list and say I have to do these things or I can’t say my life was complete. There are things I would like to do but if I don’t get around to them it won’t be the end of the world for me, just gotta keep on living and not worry about what you haven’t done that you think you need to.
i want to go to amsterdam and travel across canada.
other then that, i have no real goals, apart from living to be a happy and moral person – and i don’t need religion for that.
Prepare my children the best I can to be good people, travel and be happy.
“…that sounds so droll!”. actually , to me it sounds “like drool”. check out other belief systems, those that go beyond nascar and country-western, as there are endless possibilities beyond the obvious and “entry level”. keeping an open mind is a strong indication of a triple digit i.q. and something approaching depth. i’m not criticising you, per se, just those “out there” who get brainwashed early and stay that way for their “one life”. explore! take a chance! be brave! think for yourself! cheers
Find a woman to love, raise a family (if I had my way, I would have a huge house with like 12 kids),
Other than that, I would like to be known and respected by a lot of people. That’s my general goal.
i (and lots of people i know, spiritual and not) have written up a list of 101 things to do in 1001 days. i suppose that’s something sort of on that line of thinking.
from reading a set number of books, to travelling certain places… it’s a good way of motivation, if not for a way to live life to the fullest!
I hope that reading the Bible is close to the top of the list.
Already did my list , so now I can coast to the end. Same end your going to get, but you will be worrying all the way.
Honestly, you have no clue if there is life after death, so your question is irrelevant. All you have is a book written by people who thought the earth was flat and natural disasters were caused by gods. Hardly a credible source.
answer dumbass questions well now that I have completed all I have to do bring on the dirt nap
build a house, plant a tree, raise a son
and invent something that will change the face of the world
I want to buy a yacht before I die.
And cure bird flu/AIDS.
That’s all.
I want to find the fountain of youth.
nope jus take life as it comes an see how it goes when i die i die but @ least i wouldn’t b liek o i never did this as i was dying
So, you’re saying that only atheists have life goals?
So, people who practice religion just sit around and wait to die so they can live it up in their respective after life?
Somehow, your logic seems a little flawed.
Nice try at trying to frighten atheists. It failed.
All Atheist bastards are always rude. So God will burn them in Hell Fire.
I want to convert as many ‘believers’ as I can to critical thinking instead of gullibility.
If Christians’ beliefs were true, they’d have just this one life to enjoy, because their Heaven is a joyless place…just another Hell. I write books and paint pictures. I should complete many more of both while I live. I want to enjoy many more years with my lover too. I can accomplish all of this, I am certain.
